Grant-Assurance Compliance
Airport Growth Partners helps general aviation airports address the federal grant-assurance issues most closely connected to their leases, hangars, facilities, rates, revenue, and business operations.
We are not the FAA and do not act as legal counsel. Our role is to help airport sponsors understand how federal obligations affect practical business decisions, identify potential concerns, organize the supporting records, and coordinate with the appropriate professionals when a formal determination is needed.
What we help with
- Providing best practices related to hangar use and non-aeronautical storage
- Reviewing the airport's efforts to remain as financially self-sustaining as reasonably possible
- Organizing records needed to support airport decisions and demonstrate compliance
- Establishing trackable compliance responsibilities, review dates, and supporting documentation in Hangarly
- Coordinating with airport counsel, engineers, appraisers, and other professionals when specialized opinions are required
Expected outcomes
- Earlier identification of potential compliance concerns
- Better documentation supporting airport decisions
- Reduced risk associated with leases, hangar use, rates, and airport revenue
- A practical compliance process airport staff can maintain
